REV. DR. ALEXANDER HAMILTON

As a paid professional musician since the age of 9, Rev. Dr. Alexander Hamilton played and/or conducted and/or arranged for: Lola Falana, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Bill Cosby, The Friends Of Distinction, Leslie Uggams, Lou Rawls, Esther Rolle, The Staple Singers, Solomon Burke, Joel Grey, Sammy Davis Jr., Ben Vereen, Liza Minelli, Mabel King, Natalie Cole, Etta James, James Cleveland, Cassietta George, Bessie Griffin, Shirley Caesar, Mahalia Jackson, and many others. He arranged & conducted Aretha Franklin’s Grammy-Award winning “Amazing Grace” Gospel album, he co-wrote the million-seller Gospel hit "He's A Miracle Worker" with Eddie Kendrix, and has appeared in many recordings, television shows, and concerts across America.

Dr. Hamilton established four semi-professional community choirs during his six decades of music ministry service; The MiracleAires [1960's], The Voices of Inspiration [1970's], The New Generation Singers [1980's], and Immanuel Gospel Community Choirs [1990's]. Dr. Hamilton's choirs recorded five albums, appeared in numerous television shows, and in thousands of live stage performances.

In addition to his master musicianship, Dr. Hamilton was an accomplished and respected Scriptural Scholar. As a University Theology Professor and through The Gospel Institutes distance learning, Dr. Hamilton had students in over ninety cities around the world.
